Modular Assembler Sections
Section 1
Alignment Track
This two sided track indexes the individual rows of coils into the assembler.
Tracks the individual coils so that they are aligned against each other and their top and bottom plane are equal.
This process prepares the rows for fusion.
Section 2
Ultrasonic Fuser
The fuser consists of 2 components:
1. The Ultrasonic Stack and Horn, which produces the energy.
2. The Anvil, works against the Ultrasonic Horn to fuse the encasement material together.
The fuser fuses the rows of coils together creating a module, as it feeds the fused rows to the Indexing track.
Section 3
Indexing Track
This two sided track indexes the Module away from the Ultrasonic Fuser and aligns the Module for the cutting and sealing process.
Section 4
Ultrasonic Cutter and Sealer
The Ultrasonic cutter and sealer consist of 2 components:
1. The Ultrasonic Stack and Horn, which produces the energy
2. The Anvil and Blade, works against the Ultrasonic Horn to cut the module to length and then fuse the encasement material together
Section 5
Speed Up Belts
These are two vertical conveyors working against the sides of the module, they ramp up the indexing speed stretching the module which creates the space for the cutting and sealing process.
These belts then index the module onto the connecting conveyor which sends the cut to size module to the GlueLess® Innerspring Assembler.
GlueLess® Assembler Sections
Section 1
Connecting Conveyor
The Connecting conveyor transfers the modules from the Modular Assembler to the GlueLess® Innerspring Assembler.
This conveyor can be configured into different shapes for optimizing the work area.
Section 2
Preparation Mechanism and Inserter
This is where the module is positioned and inserted between the pressure plates.
Section 3
Entrance Pressure Plates and Modular Tracks
The Pressure Plates and Modular Tracks guide the Quad Coil into the Fusing position.
Section 4
Heating and Cooling Probes
These probes are inserted and lowered into the Quad Coil opening of the two adjacent modules.
The probes close together trapping the encasement fabric between them, the heating element is then engaged fusing the two layers of encasing material together.
Section 5
Exit Pressure Plates, Modular Tracks and Roller Conveyor
The GlueLess® Innerspring Assembler counts the number of modules fused together. Once the innerspring unit is completed it is indexed through the Exit Pressure Plate and Modular Tracks onto the Roller Conveyor where it is collected for packaging.
Heating and Cooling Probes
The probes are part of a fusing head which is modular and can be replaced in under one minute.
